Our Detection Dogs

Our Certified K9's are trained to work all areas to detect, indicate and alert to the odor of explosives and/or narcotics. All of our K9's train regularly, work extensively and train to certification standards regularly. They are Certified through the American Society of Canine Trainers which is one of the only organizations that is recognized Nationally and Internationally. These dogs work hard, train hard and play hard!

The Handlers that work these dogs, work just as hard as they do. They train and practice regularly and make sure the dogs are having fun, learning and enjoying what they are doing. Just like us humans, if it isn't fun, we don't want to put energy into it!

Our handlers MUST re-certify every Fall. We all get together for a week and practice and train and learn. All of the handlers and dogs have to pass their re-certifcaton examination.

Our Narcotic Detection work in the private sector is for Drug Rehabilitation Facilities, Private Residences, Commercial Companies and Buildings, Hotels, Halfway houses and Vehicle Auctions. We also clear and secure and screen luggage for transportation purposes. We clear cruise ships in luggage areas, cabins, crew areas, entertainment areas, secondary screening and any other areas of concern. We are Spokane County's K9 Detection unit for Geiger Correction Facility and Spokane County Jail. We search and clear the Federal Marshall transports, Spokane Arena, The Podium and State Fairgrounds. We also work directly with Customs and Border Patrol to keep Narcotics out of International Waters.

Some of our Explosives Detection work has been for companies including Metro Dade K9, Garrison & Sloan, 7th Shield, Active K9, Scentworks K9, 3DK9, Simon Protection Group, Global Protection Group and many other smaller companies.

Our resume includes events and searches such as St.Michelle Winery, NFL Games, NBA Games, NHL Games, Coachella, Day N Vegas, movie sets in Washington and Montana, San Diego Comic Con, Northern Quest Casino, Hoopfest, many smaller 1, 2 and 3 day music festivals, Cruise Lines that include Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Princess Cruise lines. We have also worked security during the riots, cleared buildings and protected properties.

We provided a Human Remains Detection dog to Pend Orielle Sheriff's office and assist them as need with all areas regarding tracking and missions with the humans remain dog.

We have a Bed Bug Detection Dog working in the Portland area.
